This reminds me of the Song of Solomon in the Bible, where the love story between God and His lover, everyone of us, is simply described. Just read the book when you have time!! It is such a real romantic love story! :)
I understand that not many of us can really love God so much that we can declare the words of love from the bottom of our heart. We still want God when in need, praise God when He provides, and pray to Him when we lack. Some try to devote our lives to God because we know He is the ultimate purpose, and there is actually nowhere else we can find such meaning of life. Yet, if there is another person in your life that you love so much, would you still remember God on Valentine's Day? Would you prepare something that He likes for Him as hard as you may have done for your other half? Would you want to spend more time with Him, just the two of you?
Sorry Papa, my mind has been pulled away to the busy life, to how to make my parents accompanied and happy, to how to celebrate with Jun, to how to still finish my essay due tomorrow, as well as to all the preparations for Saturday's Evangelical Event... You have been so important in my life. But I just have not spent much time with you today... I understand that Valentine's Day is a man-constructed day for perhaps some time to spend with your partner, or merely commercial purposes. But the significance is that, when I am asked to spend some time or celebrate with your loved ones, I have not prioritised you as my first. I have put you behind the physical world of relationships and work... Oh God, how sad it is if You have waited for me the whole day and night just for a word of love and remembrance; and I just have put you to the last??? I am sorry...... Could you please help me to love You more and more??? I want to! But my mind sometimes just gets occupied by things that are less important though urgent and visible. Please help me. How much I want to love You whole-heartedly and completely!!!
